Google Announces Froogle

In the recent month, Google.Com has released a new website, Froogle.Com. Based on a search engine type database, Froogle allows users to search and find information online about products for sale. By entering keywords of a description of the item you are looking for, Froogle then gives you an exact location on the internet as to where you may purchase that item.

There are three ways to search Froogle, by basic (as shown on the frontpage), by advanced search, or simply by browsing categories. The results are not based on “paid” advertisers- only the best ranking items to your description. Paid sponsors are only allotted space on the right hand side of each page.
